In the old days (i.e. the early 2020s. In the olden days comedians could have hoped to tour across the UK for a number of years prior to being invited onto a television panel and then selling an arena tour. But it is not that straightforward at the moment. One form of art that can still be performed live is comedy, however there's no chance of arena shows. But, one Bristol comedian has found a worldwide audience by utilizing social media lockdown. Being famous on the internet is not something that Abi Clarke was hoping to achieve. The 24-year old, who lives in Hen bury, with her parents, initially began making online videos "to build a following of like-minded people who would like my stand-up comedy. "I was performing more shows in Devon to males aged 50 or older, so I started making online videos hoping to create an audience of people who would like my stand up comedy," Abi said.
